Acted as Senior Designer on a several projects of varying types and scales, including Myriad Gardens a multiple AIA Award winning project

 

Hillier Architecture:

Managed ‘whole product’ design practice infrastructure across multiple offices including implementing Revit, IT purchasing, customizing and implementing an RFI and Submittal tracking system, and developing an in-house punch list application using voice and hand writing recognition on the tablet PC

 

Revit Technology:

As one of two Directors of Technical Sales, played leading role in the initial launch of Revit in the United States and European markets, additionally Introduced Revit to the Asian and Australian markets

Built and co-lead a team that through direct sales, acquired the majority of the 150 largest US architecture firms as customers within the first 18 months of the products release

 

Next Wave Technologies:

Co-founded innovative technology company, prepared the business plan used for raising capital, led the creation of branding programs, sales collateral, and industry outreach including trade shows, marketing collateral and RFP responses

 

Convergent Group/EDS/McDonnell Douglas:

Served as Product Manager for a PC based CAD software product

Lead technical presenter for major federal bids

Assisted in industry presence and brand management through industry influence, ghost writing, and technical advice

Co-led design of Graphic Data System’s second generation product suite, an object oriented integrated graphic and tabular database product for the Architecture Engineering and Construction (AEC), Facilities Management (FM) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) markets

Led selection and implementation of integrated CAD and GIS system to the 120 person multidisciplinary firm of planners, urban designers, architects and landscape architects

Participated in the firm’s product design practice area with involvement in products ranging from tea kettles to furniture to computationally designed ceiling systems and demountable partitions.

Led the Digital Design and Fabrication component of the SE regions Month of Making, overseeing the design and development of custom software to enable non-technical designs to conceive and fabricate simple or advanced geometric shapes using 3D printers, CNC machines and laser cutters

Reduced the number of primary tools used in the design & production process to two, and tightly integrated them with proprietary software to increase efficiency and quality of product
